About AI Agents Directory
The most comprehensive, independently maintained directory of AI agents and automation tools. Built by engineers who use these tools in production — not by marketers.
Why We Built This
In 2024, Ramesh Kumar was evaluating AI agent frameworks for a production deployment at a fintech client. The problem: every "top tools" article online was either two years out of date, written by someone who had clearly never used the tools, or just a thinly disguised affiliate link farm.
So he started building a private spreadsheet. Then a GitHub repo. Then a proper website. AI Agents Directory launched with 300 agents and has grown to over 2,800 — all verified, categorised, and documented by a team that actually works with these systems.
We track agent frameworks, autonomous systems, RAG pipelines, no-code builders, and the fast-moving layer of tools that help developers ship AI-powered products. Our content covers 305 categories across every major industry vertical, updated weekly.
What We Cover
Autonomous Agents
Self-directing systems like AutoGPT, OpenDevin, and BabyAGI that chain LLM calls to complete multi-step goals without constant human input.
Agent Frameworks
Developer tools for building agentic applications — LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, and 200+ others with code examples and comparisons.
Specialized Agents
Domain-specific agents for coding (GitHub Copilot, Cursor), research (Elicit, Consensus), security (Protect AI), and 40+ other verticals.
Multi-Agent Systems
Orchestration frameworks, agent communication protocols, and architectures for running fleets of AI agents on complex enterprise workflows.
In-Depth Guides
Over 1,300 technical articles covering LLM deployment, RAG systems, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI safety — written by practitioners.
Industry News
Weekly coverage of new model releases, framework updates, research papers, and funding rounds from the AI agent ecosystem.

Expert-Written Only
Every article is written by a practitioner who has actually deployed or tested the tools being discussed. We do not publish generic AI-generated summaries.
Named Sources & Real Stats
Claims are backed by citations from McKinsey, Gartner, Stanford HAI, arXiv, or official vendor documentation. No made-up statistics.
Regular Accuracy Reviews
The AI tool landscape changes fast. We review and update content weekly, marking outdated articles and flagging deprecated tools.
No Paid Placements in Content
Our editorial coverage is independent. Tools are ranked and described based on merit, not advertising spend. Sponsored content is clearly labelled.
Corrections Policy
If we publish anything inaccurate, we correct it immediately and note the correction at the bottom of the article. Email us at srameshkmr48@gmail.com.
Community Contributions
Anyone can submit an AI agent via our submission form. Submissions are reviewed for accuracy before going live — we don't auto-publish.
